Dr. Nalini is a development professional with 30 years of experience in institute building, change management, eco-system development, and resource mobilization with non-profit and corporate foundations.
Dr. Nalini has to her credit many innovative and path-breaking initiatives including Dr. Reddy’s Foundation for Human and Social Development, Hyderabad programs of India, the Child Relief and You(CRY) Fellowship Program, and Clothes Bank- for recycling used clothes. As the Founder and Executive Chair of CAP Foundation and the CAP Workforce Development Institute. she inspires a dedicated team of professionals and business mentors in India and sub-Saharan Africa to provide end-to-end livelihood solutions that link learning and livelihoods for marginalized and at- of young people.
Dr. Nalini holds a doctorate in Education and a gold medal from the Madras School of Social Work, India. She has to her credit many innovative and path–breaking initiatives with a particular interest in at-risk young people and their futures. Over 250,000 young adults between 14-25 years of age have accessed decent jobs and secure futures through the multi-entry-multi exit academic, vocational, and occupational programs in Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. A recipient of several awards, she has served on many professional, national, governmental, and international working groups and forums connected with youth services, poverty alleviation, informal sector employment, safe migration, skills training, and corporate social responsibility. Her work has received global recognition like the recent Woman Achievers Award for India in New Delhi numerous, March 8, 2019.
