Are you passionate about shaping policies that create dignified and fulfilling work opportunities for young people in Africa?  Do you want to be at the forefront of policy change and industrial transformation that will define the future of youth employment in Africa?

This is your opportunity to become a youth voice in policy discussions, collaborate with experts, and contribute to groundbreaking research that will shape the future of work for millions of young Africans!

About the Youth Futures Policy Research Project
The Youth Futures Policy Research Project is a three-year initiative funded by the Mastercard Foundation and implemented in Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, and Uganda. It aims to transform youth employment policies by addressing the gaps in policy formulation and regulatory frameworks that hinder dignified and fulfilling work.

The research focuses on two key questions:

πŸ”Ή How can existing policies be activated and enhanced to provide meaningful employment opportunities for youth in Africa?
πŸ”ΉWhat industrial and trade policies can Africa leverage to create sustainable jobs in the face of the 4th Industrial Revolution and the evolving digital economy?

The Youth Advisory Committee is a core pillar of this project to ensure that youth experiences, voices, and aspirations are integrated into policy discussions and solutions.

As a member of the Youth Advisory Committee, you will:
βœ… Have a direct impact on policy research – Provide insights into the realities young people face in the labor market.
βœ… Gain exclusive mentorship & training – Enhance your skills in research methods, data analysis, and policy engagement.
βœ… Be a key voice for youth empowerment – Shape policies that support youth employment and economic inclusion.

βœ… Participate in national and regional discussions – Join dialogues, workshops, and meetings to advocate for youth-centered policies.
